High Quality Homes in Sustainable Environments

Odu-Dua Housing Association, based in Camden, North London, is committed to serving Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) communities, primarily catering to individuals of African and Caribbean descent, although our services are open to all. We own and manage 166 properties across the vibrant boroughs of Barnet, Brent, and Camden, which are known for their accessibility and strong community ties.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable housing that addresses the specific needs of BME communities, ensuring our tenants have access to necessary services and local amenities. This commitment extends beyond housing; we strive to empower our residents and foster community through supportive services and initiatives.

We maintain our properties to high standards for the safety and comfort of our tenants and continually engage with local stakeholders to adapt and improve our offerings. At Odu-Dua Housing Association, we provide not just homes, but also a foundation for thriving community life.

Our History

Odu-Dua Housing Association was established in 1986 with the goal of addressing the housing needs of single homeless Black men by making use of the plentiful short-life properties available in Camden. The association became registered with the Homes and Communities Agency in 1988.

As time progressed, Odu-Dua not only refurbished these short-life units but also expanded its portfolio by acquiring additional permanent properties. Moreover, the organization extended its reach by purchasing a few properties in the neighboring boroughs of Brent and Barnet, furthering its commitment to serving the community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to offer high-quality, affordable housing primarily for Black and ethnic minority individuals in North London. We aim to be the preferred BME housing provider, ensuring our tenants have access to superior homes within sustainable communities.

Our Objectives:

  • Expand our affordable family housing options.
  • Enhance the quality of life for our tenants, helping them actively engage in their communities.
